Well, Art is a variety of human activities that include the production of visual, auditory or performing objects that express the creativity, creative concepts, or technological abilities of the artist, intended primarily for their beauty or emotional power to be appreciated.
So art is commonly understood by individuals with a communicative or artistic intent as any action or product, something that communicates an idea, an emotion or more generally, a world view. It is a cultural component which reflects economic and social substrates in its architecture.
Now we are going to explain about what is art. Check them out below;
Art is a very diverse variety of human activities involved in the creation of visual, auditory, or performed objects that convey the creative or technological capacity of the artist and are intended to be admired for their beauty or emotional strength.
Visual arts, including pictures or objects in fields like painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and other visual media, are the oldest known types of art. As one of the visual arts, architecture is also included; but like the decorative arts, it includes the development of objects where functional considerations of usage are necessary, in a way that they are typically not like a painting in another visual art.
What is Art? and/or What is Beauty?
Everything we do is craft, a verb. Art is an expression of our emotions, feelings, intuitions, and expectations, but it’s much more personal than that it’s about expressing the way the world is perceived, an extension of personality for many. It is the communication of intimate concepts which words alone can not faithfully convey. And because it’s not enough for words alone we have to find some other vehicle to hold our purpose. But the material that we infuse into or into our chosen media is not art in itself. Art is to be found in the way the media is used in the way the information is conveyed.
And what is beauty then? Beauty is much more than cosmetics: prettiness is not what it is about. At the neighborhood home furnishing shop, there are plenty of pretty pictures available; but these we might not refer to as beautiful; and it is not difficult to find works of artistic expression that we may agree are beautiful that are not inherently pretty. Rather, beauty is a measure of power, a measure of emotion. Beauty is the gauge of effective contact between participants in the sense of art, the transmitting of a notion between the artist and the perceiver. Beautiful art is effective in portraying the most profound intended feelings of the artist, the desired ideas, whether they be beautiful and vibrant, or dark and sinister. But neither the artist nor the observer can ultimately be sure of good contact. So, beauty is eternally subjective in art.
